After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Yin Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Marlin FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
