Demonde Jacobson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Oscar Mulero's Bero Solana got a free kick in the 11th minute. Rogelio Prieto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarell Hill in the 12th minute of the match. If Crispo Valdés had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crispo Valdés could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Iago Zubiaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demonde Jacobson was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Iago Zubiaga came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Demonde Jacobson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Geroy Ascue hit a great ball. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iago Zubiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match, Rencio Yeste tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Demonde Jacobson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 38th minute, Jamaica's Jamaall Padmore seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jamaall Padmore the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jamaica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jamaall Padmore had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 37th minute, one of Jamaica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jamaica. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Oscar Mulero. Sandro Companys stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Demonde Jacobson. 3-0. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Iago Zubiaga scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karlus Waugh made a kick off. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bero Solana in the 52nd minute of play. Kordal Duff kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match.
