Jose Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Luís Paulo Linhares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by 崔峰泉 in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paulo Linhares got free with Jacobo Nores in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Jose Sanz got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Sierocki. Bernard Sierocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bernard Sierocki managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo da Floresta's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Sierocki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Bernard Sierocki's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Sierocki helped the player get up and apologised. Bernard Sierocki kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Luís Paulo Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Linhares in the 60th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernard Sierocki scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Sierocki in the 70th minute of the match. Tony Campidelis charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Campidelis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodoro Jacinto had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Pardo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Luís Paulo Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Luís Paulo Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Paulo da Floresta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Paulo Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Paulo Linhares during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Bernard Sierocki put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. São Paulo da Floresta were victorious despite being under pressure from Paraguay for much of the match.
