The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. New Wave FC's Jonathan Fuller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute of the match CE LAJEADENSE RS got a corner. New Wave FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Iigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leo Iigo to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Fuller despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ashley Linkletter kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. New Wave FC's Jonathan Fuller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 6th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Christian Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Linkletter in the 8th minute of play. Jonathan Fuller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Udo Nigula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Fuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Iigo scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Fuller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of New Wave FC booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Iigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes of play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Zhuo Chao Chuan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Fuller was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leo Iigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Fuller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Jonathan Fuller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Udo Nigula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind New Wave FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Fuller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, New Wave FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Fuller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Iigo. Leo Iigo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Iigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Zhuo Chao Chuan put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Fuller. In the 45th minute, Jorge Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Renato Quadros replaced Jorge Pires. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zhuo Chao Chuan was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Fuller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Leo Iigo notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of New Wave FC's Jonathan Fuller. Jonathan Fuller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Emil Fărcășan. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Christian Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Linkletter in the 85th minute of play. Ivan Kaye struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Christian Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Wave FC. Jonathan Fuller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bater Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
