The corner led AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Aureliano Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Karlo got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Aureliano Karlo sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Aureliano Karlo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 17th minute of play. AFC FUSION were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Beckham took the corner. Arturo Carvallo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Aureliano Karlo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Aureliano Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Aureliano Karlo sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Aureliano Karlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Aureliano Karlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Karlo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Aureliano Karlo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Karlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 56 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 61st minute, Aureliano Karlo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Aureliano Karlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Karlo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Karlo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Lino Rios replaced Aureliano Karlo. In the 74th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Escribano. In the 80th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roberto Eztebe, 7-1. 86 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. If Lino Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rios in the 95th minute of the match.
