Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Cyprian Oliszewski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as ORIZABA F.C.'s Cyprian Oliszewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. 6 minutes into the game, ORIZABA F.C.'s Cyprian Oliszewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 9th match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Izquierdo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montenegro in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Kan saved ORIZABA F.C. from getting behind. In the 15th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ORIZABA F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through ORIZABA F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oliver Kan. ORIZABA F.C.'s Edelmiro Ramone quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primitivo Andino, made in the 19th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyprian Oliszewski got free with Julio Vera in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Cyprian Oliszewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cyprian Oliszewski really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyprian Oliszewski in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyprian Oliszewski got free with Julio Vera in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oliver Kan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Hilario Izquierdo charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Izquierdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ORIZABA F.C.! The crowd rose to their feet as Cyprian Oliszewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 4-1 in the 39 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Oliver Kan made a huge save. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. If Cyprian Oliszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Kan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 66th minute. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by ORIZABA F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Felix Montes made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan managed to reach the ball for a save. ORIZABA F.C.'s Gică Bogdan got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leoncio Huerta kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Gică Bogdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliver Kan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but ORIZABA F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
