Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Bikendi in the 5th minute of the match. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Rutenio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Vassenius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Rutenio during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ezequiel Rutenio hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Bikendi in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th play minute Alfonso Bikendi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 1-0. After 30 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 35th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Bikendi in the 41st minute of play. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Bikendi went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.

RB Chubut made a substitution. Lázaro Quico replaced Adrian Cristos. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Isaac Mingo hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Robert Vassenius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Robert Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goalkeeper Robert Vassenius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 64 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's Alfonso Bikendi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Bikendi in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 76th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robert Vassenius was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. In the 87thth minute of the game Andrézinho Pelé who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on RB Chubut's corner Lino Semeno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Lino Semeno hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save RB Chubut from getting a goal against them.
