The audience thought a goal was coming when Caio da Rocha got free with Rolando Noboa in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute of the match, Ilgaz Şirvan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Ilgaz Şirvan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Noboa. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 32nd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Anselmo Finocchio made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno did a great save. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio da Rocha in the 52nd minute of play. Abel Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 54th minute. Abel Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Bueno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play.
