Bogumil Pochorylo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Pochorylo in the 48th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Fuat Bayraktaroğlu in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Lions Of Turks's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Fuat Bayraktaroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Manzanedo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
