After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Serter Bozlak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Serter Bozlak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Las Momias F. C.'s Matheus Nascimento. But to his dismay, Matheus Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 38 minutes into the game, Las Momias F. C.'s Matheus Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The throw-in from Serter Bozlak in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Luis Rubio. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Fernado to make the kick off.
