Marco Day didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 19th minute of play forced FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Franciszek Lerych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Fotis Katramados stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Fotis Katramados tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raphael Moore made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Raphael Moore. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franciszek Lerych prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fotis Katramados's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Franciszek Lerych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 51st minute of the match. USA played a much better game than FC Dwa Do Ósmej and deserved their victory. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
