Bonifacio Naldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Bonifacio Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bonifacio Naldo. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Fabio Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Jeronimo Birila made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Horymír Arnošt hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Naldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Carballar's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Jeronimo Birila succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Paulo Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Hernando in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Hernando in the 89th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. After 93 minutes, Orlando Tafalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the Atletico Calamar Saavedra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bonifacio Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 95th minute of the match. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
