Nesor Vacas scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Iztal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Gregorio Hotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Rius. Latocayteva F.C.'s attentive Saul Villanueva managed to snatch the ball when Saverio Cristos made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Misael Darroja put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Iztal. With a little luck, Latocayteva F.C.'s Apolo Rius got control of the ball when Joaquim Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line.
