Krister Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krister Jonsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Tord Stolpe got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Belkå was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 30th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krister Jonsson. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 56th minute Krister Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
