Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rick Cabezon started the match with the kick off. Rick Cabezon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. Antonio Indiano charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Indiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Colombia! Tadeu Guerra shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Rick Cabezon got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Navarro charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Navarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Tadeu Guerra sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Colombia's Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move. With an all-out effort, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jailson Batista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 31st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pascual Carballar came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Carballar couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Batista in the 42nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Manuel Antunes hit a great ball.

Barcellos Mineiro FC's Luiz Guilherme Garcia was substituted for Amadeu Capixaba. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 56th minute of the match. Gil Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Murilo Mattos was substituted for Tadeu Guerra. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rick Cabezon was slow to take the kick. During this time Barcellos Mineiro FC's players had a chance to rest. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Rick Cabezon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Luiz Guilherme Garcia hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Barcellos Mineiro FC defense, Ignacio Mastache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Coelho. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Coelho should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Rick Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Rick Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 86th minute of the match. If Ignacio Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Mastache received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gil Coelho came out and tried to block the shot, but Ignacio Mastache slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 95th minute.
