Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jamaica's Finlay Stair started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Corinthians Paulista's Mattias Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Albino Steven made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians Paulista's Albino Steven. But to his dismay, Albino Steven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jamaica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kléber Valle was slow to take the kick. During this time Corinthians Paulista's players had a chance to rest. Corinthians Paulista's Kléber Valle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Demonde Jacobson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Romon Oliver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattias Casillas. Corinthians Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romon Oliver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Mattias Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarell Hill in the 29th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Corinthians Paulista's Evandro Pena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-2. Jamaall Padmore's late challenge caught a Corinthians Paulista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jamaall Padmore helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Jamaall Padmore. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th match minute, Corinthians Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerônimo Mangueira made a kick off. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Sjøbeck in the 53rd minute of the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Mangueira in the 59th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Carlos Eduardo Fernandez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians Paulista's Jerônimo Mangueira. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Mangueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. Jerônimo Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jerônimo Mangueira hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Wayan Freeman kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Kléber Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demonde Jacobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kléber Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Mangueira in the 75th minute of the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Mangueira in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Kordal Duff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corinthians Paulista the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kordal Duff to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Renato Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Mangueira in the 86th minute of play. Kordal Duff hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Evandro Pena struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Demonde Jacobson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians Paulista. 91 minutes into the match, Jerônimo Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerônimo Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Romon Oliver fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Romon Oliver a yellow card for diving instead. Romon Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Corinthians Paulista were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Jamaica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kléber Valle took the corner. Corinthians Paulista's Kléber Valle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Demonde Jacobson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Corinthians Paulista had played much better football throughout.
