Paços de Ferreira's Miguel Poças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Berbiz in the 4th minute of play. Miguel Poças came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by club atletico aldosivi's Anibal Berbiz. But to his dismay, Anibal Berbiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jedrzej Koprowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Bomba in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Anibal Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Berbiz in the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Berbiz in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Poças saved F.C. Paços de Ferreira from getting behind. In the 23rdth minute of the game Anibal Berbiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Miguel Poças was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Bomba got free with Jedrzej Koprowski in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Emeterio in the 26th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Emeterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Poças was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28th minute Eustacio Sabin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Bomba was the one to do the kick off. Chus Cardeñosa hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 52nd match minute, club atletico aldosivi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Sabin to maneuver through the defense. If Anibal Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of F.C. Chus Cardeñosa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. club atletico aldosivi's Alexandre Flores was substituted for Edmund Achenbach. José Bomba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jedrzej Koprowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Gavino Abella got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Fabrício Travassos was substituted for João Maia. Anselmo Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Miguel Poças tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Abella in the 83rd minute of play. Emin Sağan scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jedrzej Koprowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If José Bomba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of club atletico aldosivi booed when F.C. Paços de Ferreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bóas Pernas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
