Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cecilio Tristan got the match started through his kick off. Cecilio Tristan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. In the 13th minute Hector Covarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from J.J Okocha. In the 19th minute of the match, Cecilio Tristan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacobo Nores was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 20th minute of the match Abuba Akotonon FC got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genaro Elivareo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abuba Akotonon FC's Genaro Elivareo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacobo Nores in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cecilio Tristan struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abuba Akotonon FC. Ramiro Rey's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Rey helped the player get up and apologised. Primitivo Escribano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Orlando Gatti. Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cecilio Tristans short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paraguay's attack was well implemented in the 33rd minute, but when Jaime Pardo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Vânderson Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Cecilio Tristan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Tristan in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cecilio Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Cecilio Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Tristan scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Cecilio Tristan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Cecilio Tristan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cecilio Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Genaro Elivareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Cecilio Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Tristan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cecilio Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Tristan in the 82nd minute of the match. When Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute Cecilio Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Abuba Akotonon FC.
