Korona Kielce's Nicolae Dobrin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 8th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimo Ülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimo Ülend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Agostinho Negri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agostinho Negri really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Eliseo Mina made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Moises Gayoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimo Ülend showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 26th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After some careless play in the Korona Kielce defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimo Ülend. The Korona Kielce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimo Ülend should have stopped the shot. Raimo Ülend made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Negri in the 62nd minute of play. Raimo Ülend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Agostinho Negri came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Korona Kielce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Negri couldn't finish the play. Korona Kielce's Alex Macedo was substituted for Agostinho Negri. Korona Kielce's Ivar Lilleeng was substituted for Nicolae Dobrin. Korona Kielce's Nihat Sarıdoğan was substituted for Art 许褚. In the 72nd minute, Niculae Biriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Peru's Anthony Alvarado got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Korona Kielce supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
