The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lion Messi made the kick off which started today's match. Lion Messi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Lion Messi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Paredes came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Dibag Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alexis MacAlister managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis MacAlister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Leandro Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Lautaro Martinez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Lion Messi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Lion Messi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. Leandro Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Scaloneta the free kick. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When La Scaloneta's Lion Messi in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
