Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Pardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The PIAUÍ FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when PIAUÍ FC's Guga Trancoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mete Gøl made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Ivan Prats. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Gøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Guga Trancoso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jacobo Nores 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of Paraguay booed when PIAUÍ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match, Baturhan Oytun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacobo Nores was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A well placed Mete Gøl short distance shot in the 23rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guga Trancoso in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Guga Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Baturhan Oytun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baturhan Oytun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Paulo Batista hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serginho Nogueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Baturhan Oytun sent off a good shot on target. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Gøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Mete Gøl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIAUÍ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mete Gøl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Demis Katsarolidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as PIAUÍ FC's Mete Gøl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 6-0 after 48 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guga Trancoso was the one to do the kick off. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Trancoso in the 55th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquim Ubiña was slow to take the kick. During this time PIAUÍ FC's players had a chance to rest. When PIAUÍ FC's Guga Trancoso in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes into the game, Guga Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Guga Trancoso made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. When PIAUÍ FC's Guga Trancoso in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Guga Trancoso took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Guga Trancoso sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. In the 77th minute, Juninho Freitas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Guga Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baturhan Oytun scored 13-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Joaquim Ubiña came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the PIAUÍ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Ubiña couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Fernandinho Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Fernandinho Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Baturhan Oytun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Campos during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Campos to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, PIAUÍ FC's Joaquim Ubiña tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, Baturhan Oytun notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
