Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Tomás Tipi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Antoni Cichowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores, 1-0. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Diego Melendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Iker Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Tomás Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. When Tomás Tipi came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Tipi couldn't finish the play. Lisandro Sugar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute Tomás Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Tipi's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Tomás Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Tomás Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes in the game Tang Yin Lin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Antoni Cichowski. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Tipi in the 68th minute of play. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tomás Tipi, made in the 69th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Tomás Tipi in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Tipi in the 74th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Antoni Cichowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoni Cichowski took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Tang Yin Lin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Antoni Cichowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Paraguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
