Jonathan Alphonse kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Haiti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa:s goal. The goalkeeper, Noel Seide, was totally fooled by Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Juarês Baiano, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 16th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernso Constant to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Hortêncio Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Seide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Gesner Philippe came free, but Carlinhos Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Jean Marie Alcius. 28 minutes in the game Rodney Emmanuel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Raymond Louis. Ernso Constant struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Carlinhos Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. In the 31st match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Juarês Baiano in the 32nd minute really tested Noel Seide's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 33rd minute, Tales Vidal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Haiti's attentive Jean Marie Alcius managed to snatch the ball when Juarês Baiano made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Ernso Constant struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Carlinhos Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. After 43 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Alphonse. 46 minutes into the game, Ramón Saldanha threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Ernso Constant quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 47th minute, Juarês Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalkeeper Carlinhos Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gesner Philippe made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Carlinhos Pombal got control of the ball when Gesner Philippe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute Tales Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gesner Philippe hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the game Ismael Andrade made a throw-in which Hortêncio Melo played forward. If Ernso Constant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Felix Dorval reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlinhos Pombal. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 87th minute, Virgílio Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Tales Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Seide was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Haiti players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa.
