With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Laureano Cresenciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brun O'Down showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Grigore Zberea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Brun O'Down didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Messias got free with Dante Lacasa in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mihăiţă Șeicaru who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mihăiţă Șeicaru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Messias came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brun O'Down was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by FC BaLiSt's Laureano Cresenciano. But to his dismay, Laureano Cresenciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC BaLiSt's goalie prevented a goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Zberea in the 43rd minute of play. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascual Colon's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Colon helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Colon. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 61st minute. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Petrică Burnei replaced Mihăiţă Șeicaru. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes, FC BaLiSt's Aron Olteanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC BaLiSt reached it. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Messias in the 64th minute of the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Zberea came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-2 became the score in the 71st minute when Joel Gaona elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC BaLiSt from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brun O'Down breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Tafalla was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Eugen Braniște replaced Pascual Colon. In the 82nd minute Laureano Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Brun O'Down was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Brun O'Down had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. When Aurelian Jianu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BaLiSt's protests and gave Aurelian Jianu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Jianu to maneuver through the defense. Petrică Burnei hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The FC BaLiSt fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
