If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Messias's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Messias helped the player get up and apologised. Iwan Banaszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Banaszak. Iwan Banaszak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Iwan Banaszak in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 73 minutes £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Camilo Franco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iwan Banaszak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Alberto Gisbert came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Gisbert couldn't finish the play. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Iwan Banaszak in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Charles Tunström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s Iwan Banaszak got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Uruguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™ throughout the match.
