Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Du Esporte Clube's Kauã Alvarenga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Eliézer Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Bertie Johnson got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Kyle Davies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Du Esporte Clube's Valdomiro Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocco Owen in the 12th minute of play. If Kauã Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute of the match, Eusébio Monteiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Barrett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Curacao booed when Du Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauã Alvarenga had several of the Curacao's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Bruno Barrett as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauã Alvarenga in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. The supporters of Du Esporte Clube booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusébio Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Troy Kennedy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Du Esporte Clube the free kick. Troy Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Davies stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano de Carvalho in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kyle Davies hit a great ball. Eusébio Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Du Esporte Clube. Du Esporte Clube's Eusébio Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Romeu Vale fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Du Esporte Clube's protests and gave Romeu Vale a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78thth minute of the game Kauã Alvarenga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Du Esporte Clube's Valdomiro Simão got control of the ball when Stanley Wallace tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Alvarenga in the 82nd minute of the match. Kauã Alvarenga took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Du Esporte Clube's Kauã Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Kauã Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Alvarenga in the 95th minute of the match. Du Esporte Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
