Jacobo Nores came out and tried to block the shot, but Valério Ortiz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Shivaraja Budaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paul Albeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valério Ortiz. In the 23rd minute, Valério Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valério Ortiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Valério Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Jose Sanz in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MAGNIFICOS.FC's Pedro Requena. Valério Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match MAGNIFICOS.FC got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paul Albeanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Paraguay's goalie and right to Ferdinando Pace. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Paraguay's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 39th minute, MAGNIFICOS.FC's Valério Ortiz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Valério Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jose Sanz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Valério Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Valério Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valério Ortiz in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Jaime Pardo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. MAGNIFICOS.FC made a substitution. Geert Wijgaert replaced Valério Ortiz. MAGNIFICOS.FC made a substitution. Frederico Hermes replaced Paul Albeanu. After 64 minutes, Geert Wijgaert made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Frederico Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Geert Wijgaert put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. Geert Wijgaert might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geert Wijgaert ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert Wijgaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Geert Wijgaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geert Wijgaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When Geert Wijgaert came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the MAGNIFICOS.FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geert Wijgaert couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geert Wijgaert in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind.
