The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Benito Madrid a yellow card for diving instead. Benito Madrid kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Vitko Kozlov put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Rigoberto Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
