The audience thought a goal was coming when Magne Pihlberg got free with Bruno Barrett in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Nilsson came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 minutes, Harvey Doyle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Djurgården IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Harvey Doyle hit a great ball. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Alexander Nilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Edvin Lindkvist scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Du Chong Le made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Kennedy in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Tim Vrieze took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. Mikolaj Siwek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Djurgården IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bruno Barrett stood somewhat misplaced when Alexander Nilsson came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 39 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Eric Dinnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Eric Dinnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikolaj Siwek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Barrett. That made the score 7-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Davies made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Lindkvist came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgården IF's Gustav Ahlrot. But to his dismay, Gustav Ahlrot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 56 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Nilsson came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Alexander Nilsson made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Ivo Van Houdtvinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Alexander Nilsson notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magne Pihlberg went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Alexander Nilsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Djurgården IF's Eric Dinnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Curacao's goalie and right to Gustav Ahlrot. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Curacao's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Ahlrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgården IF's Sven-Edvin Lindkvist. But to his dismay, Sven-Edvin Lindkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Van Houdtvinck in the 85th minute of play. Alexander Nilsson scored 15-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Magne Pihlberg came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Ahlrot in the 93rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Djurgården IF were the better team. Djurgården IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
