Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Fauna Utd's Yuri Portugal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Radamel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jenson Smith in the 10th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match USA got a corner. Fauna Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Diego Bradley was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 16th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Portugal got free with Marco Day in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 19th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karel Cromefeldt in the 21st minute of the match. Fauna Utd's Teodoro Esquipula got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karel Cromefeldt in the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Portugal came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Portugal to maneuver through the defense. Radamel Hendrickx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Pieterjan Anteunis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karel Cromefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Esquipula struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauna Utd. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radamel Hendrickx came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Mcdonald slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 76th minute. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Radamel Hendrickx made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Portugal came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fauna Utd succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though USA had controlled the match.
