Görkem Büyükada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Real Trabzon Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Görkem Büyükada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saffet Akdağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zekeriya Özbekkan. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Zekeriya Özbekkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arda Ozan Tigin got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ali Macit Salman. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Real Trabzon Sk's Görkem Büyükada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 41st minute of play. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Zekeriya Özbekkan sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saffet Akdağ couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selahaddin Başdoğan in the 61st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arda Ozan Tigin in the 64 minute of the game. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Arda Ozan Tigin made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saffet Akdağ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 83 minutes into the game, Arda Ozan Tigin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zekeriya Özbekkan in the 87th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saffet Akdağ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the match Real Trabzon Sk got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saffet Akdağ ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Real Trabzon Sk's Saffet Akdağ to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With 96 minutes on the clock, 李然笑 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Real Trabzon Sk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Honduras:s goal. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Görkem Büyükada. The Real Trabzon Sk players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
