He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andırın SK reached it. Kaspar Talts kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Naci Tansu made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. The throw-in from Naci Tansu in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou Mazuret in the 39th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Lou Mazuret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhu Ao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Zhu Ao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou Mazuret in the 57th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andırın SK made a substitution. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Naci Tansu made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Olaf Jarosz. The supporters of Andırın SK booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 82nd minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
