The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Inge Marin in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Inge Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Brujas KV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
