The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Real Madrid de Guatemala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Guevara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalie and right to Christoff Stocks. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Madrid de Guatemala's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Christoff Stocks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Tobar having to interfere. When AFC FUSION's Lino Rios in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Rios couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Tobar. Armando Tobar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Santamaria in the 32nd minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Armando Tobar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Real Madrid de Guatemala from getting a goal against them. In the 39thth minute of the game Lino Rios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Madrid de Guatemala's Armando Tobar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Sifon, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Real Madrid de Guatemala's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Lino Rios scored to the left of an out of position Armando Tobar, making the score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Santamaria in the 46th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Santamaria in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Eztebe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Jimenez during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rolando Guevara kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Lino Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Armando Tobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid de Guatemala's zone, Aureliano Karlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Tobar came out of the goal and Aureliano Karlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christoff Stocks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Tobar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Cristian Santamaria got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Rolando Guevara got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Tobar was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that AFC FUSION were the better team. AFC FUSION's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
