Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Todor Yanchev hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
