Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Fernandino in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Castulo saved MOEBIO from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 15th minute of play forced MOEBIO's goalkeeper Aquiles Castulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Fernandino during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MOEBIO booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Mateo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes El Salvador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Efrain Mateo who took care of the corner kick. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Matxin in the 28th minute of the match. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MOEBIO's Valentin Ortzi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Fabio Matxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Mateo Leguizamo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Cedro to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Valentino Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Handi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Matxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Castulo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Abram Luque sent off a good shot on target. When Mateo Leguizamo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Leguizamo couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Matxin went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Filomeno Luar fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MOEBIO's protests and gave Filomeno Luar a yellow card for diving instead. Filomeno Luar hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the game Valentin Ortzi made a throw-in which Wilfredo Escobar played forward. The supporters of MOEBIO booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. MOEBIO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
