The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Renato Prestes got free with Jacobo Nores in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romário Aparecido had several of the Paraguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 7-0 score and a disappointed Jacobo Nores as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Aparecido in the 73rd minute of play. The Risca Faca IMT fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Risca Faca IMT's Paulo Renato Prestes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Renato Prestes went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Paulo Renato Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Risca Faca IMT's Paulo Renato Prestes. But to his dismay, Paulo Renato Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. 91 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Azevedo came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 94 minutes on the clock, Iker Tafalla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 94th minute, one of Paraguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Paraguay.
