The Zero Hedge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ola Löv should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melker Törnblom. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Jonsson in the 35th minute of the match. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Löv having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Jens-Ola Löv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ola Löv made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Freddie Lindholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zero Hedge and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Lindholm. Jens-Ola Löv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 84th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Jens-Ola Löv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
