João Francisco Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Alphonse's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Haiti's Ernso Constant slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Francisco Porto. That made the score 0-4 after 61 minutes of play. In the 64th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crisólia FBPA's João Francisco Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Crisólia FBPA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 95th minute of play forced Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper João Francisco Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Ernso Constant came free, but João Francisco Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haiti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
