A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Laurențiu Gaciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Cangeopol in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alper Benli in the 24th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alper Benli came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Alper Benli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alper Benli really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 39th minute Mădălin Cangeopol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alper Benli, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mădălin Cangeopol to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mădălin Cangeopol in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heintje Gamarra couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Sneijder in the 80th minute of play. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
