The Bearnaise EA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Björkdahl should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Svante Björkdahl. Bearnaise EA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Sayvion came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bearnaise EA's Bruno Sayvion got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Bearnaise EA's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Svante Björkdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svante Björkdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sayvion in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bearnaise EA's goalkeeper Svante Björkdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. In the 36thth minute of the game Bruno Sayvion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Sayvion made a kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Sayvion, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sayvion in the 59th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bearnaise EA were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guido Python took the corner. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Bruno Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sayvion in the 85th minute of the match.
