An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Skonieczny in the 8th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Arnout Visscher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pieter Kaspers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter Kaspers in the 22nd minute of play forced Nieciece's goalkeeper Mateusz Hajto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Pieter Kaspers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Underdogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The Underdogs's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Pieter Kaspers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mateusz Hajto made a huge save. The nice shot from Pieter Kaspers in the 38thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Mateusz Hajto had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a rather tough play, Nieciece's 刘竞旭 got a free kick in the 45th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denny Haan got free with Mateusz Hajto in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Nieciece's goalkeeper Mateusz Hajto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd minute The Underdogs were awarded a corner. Richard Peppinck went to the cornerflag to take it. The Underdogs's Ben Snel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mateusz Hajto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pieter Kaspers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Nieciece:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Underdogs:s goal. After 63 minutes Nieciece's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Richard Peppinck who took care of the corner kick. The corner led The Underdogs's Richard Peppinck to fire away a dangerous shot which Mateusz Hajto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute, Kristof Bults hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Nieciece's Arnout Visscher threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miromir Kazanowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Godfried de Boer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Underdogs made a substitution. Shao Hui Li replaced Pieter Kaspers. The supporters of Nieciece booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfried de Boer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Miromir Kazanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Visscher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
