Dorio Laje dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dorio Laje made an important save on a dangerous shot by Komar Pahlevi in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Egi Ryacudu came free, but Dorio Laje reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorio Laje showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egi Ryacudu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Dorio Laje, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Penilla came free, but Kurniawan Bisri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurniawan Bisri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Penilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Penilla was the one to do the kick off. Yonas Sutrisna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorio Laje read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Sophan Cundaya charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sophan Cundaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Valhalla F.C.'s Osmundo Bullan got a free kick in the 56th minute. Icang Wanandi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Lucky Sihite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorio Laje skillfully saved the ball. After 95 played minutes PHOENIX SC got a freekick which was hit by Yonas Sutrisna.

PHOENIX SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Valhalla F.C. for a fine match.
