With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Confesor in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Joyce saved Deportivo Rodriguez from getting behind. Rogelio Confesor hit a great ball. When Fabio Guerrero fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ripa FC's protests and gave Fabio Guerrero a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Guerrero. Tony Joyce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Izel went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jason Douglas to strike the kick off in the second half. Javier Rodriguez hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Douglas in the 64th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Martin Miro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Rogelio Confesor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Confesor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Joyce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ripa FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
