Seating: 110, VIP seats: 9) Palmeiras's Bernt Jønsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio de Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, José Carlos Simões fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Trenton Call, passed just outside the right post. Black Knights FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Palmeiras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. George Cao Xiao took the corner. Ari Holcomb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Chaves having to interfere. Trenton Call took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerome Negron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 31 in the game by Elano Soares from a close distance when the talented Trenton Call managed to make a qualified save. Black Knights FC's players were relieved. Fábio de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Bernt Jønsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Trenton Call however easily saved by the left post. Bernt Jønsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Trenton Call made a huge save. Jacinto Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Otto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brendan Otto made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Brendan Otto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Knights FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendan Otto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Saldanha. If Ari Holcomb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Brendan Otto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Chaves was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Trenton Call made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio de Souza in the 64th minute of play. Jacinto Chaves made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ari Holcomb sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute Ari Holcomb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerome Negron scored 0-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Chaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ari Holcomb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 minutes of play, Palmeiras's José Carlos Simões made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trenton Call was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Trenton Call, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goalkeeper Jacinto Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ari Holcomb. Palmeiras's Jacinto Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Otto in the 94th minute of play. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.
All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Palmeiras's Bernt Jønsson that got to make the kick off. Black Knights FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by George Cao Xiao in the 104th minute. The corner ended in Ari Holcomb almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Palmeiras's Jacinto Chaves did a great save. After 104 minutes, Ari Holcomb made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Palmeiras's Jacinto Chaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Black Knights FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
