Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Derwin in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrianus Tambunan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hu Jie Rong got free with Sebastian Orlanda in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th match minute, La Vieja Guarida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Derwin to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Orlanda made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Hu Jie Rong sent off a good shot on target. Hu Jie Rong received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Orlanda came out and tried to block the shot, but Hu Jie Rong slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 18th minute. In the 26th minute Orlando Loreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Goy in the 27th minute of play forced La Vieja Guarida FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Orlanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Ereinotz in the 36th minute of play. Adrianus Tambunan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Ereinotz's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Loreto to strike the kick off in the second half. Elias Ereinotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianus Tambunan having to interfere. Adrianus Tambunan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Loreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Elias Ereinotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Vieja Guarida FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Ereinotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Hu Jie Rong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Orlanda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Sebastian Orlanda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pär Goy went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Sebastian Orlanda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Bagindo Mulyadi charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bagindo Mulyadi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute of the match Jeronimo Bartolome shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrianus Tambunan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Bento Tanonaka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Putra Rewulu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2.
