Gerardo Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randle Barry in the 2nd minute of play. Felipe Indalecio's late challenge caught a Chacarita Futsal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Indalecio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Depor Alex Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Indalecio to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Evaristo Perez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Depor Alex Return's Cirilo Peyo. Cirilo Peyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute Justino Chucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Perez had several of the Depor Alex Return's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Cirilo Peyo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Evaristo Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Elia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Cordeara in the 29th minute of the match. Depor Alex Return's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilberto Astigar in the 31st minute. Gilberto Astigar made a great header on Depor Alex Return's corner, it was just that Chacarita Futsal's Gerardo Elia managed to reach the ball for a save. Depor Alex Return's Cirilo Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Pero in the 33rd minute of play. Chacarita Futsal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristo Evarado in the 34th minute. If Esteve Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Depor Alex Return were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Chacarita Futsal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilberto Astigar took the corner. The corner ended in Gilberto Astigar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chacarita Futsal's Gerardo Elia did a great save. After some careless play in the Chacarita Futsal defense, Justino Chucho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Elia. The Chacarita Futsal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Elia should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Justino Chucho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gerardo Elia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Chucho to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Depor Alex Return's Gerardo Elia threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Justino Chucho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Chacarita Futsal's Evaristo Perez in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Depor Alex Return's goalie prevented a goal. Cirilo Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goalkeeper Gerardo Elia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Chucho. 76 minutes into the game, Randle Barry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Depor Alex Return's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita Futsal the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Depor Alex Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randle Barry to maneuver through the defense. Randle Barry kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Depor Alex Return defense, Esteve Pero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirilo Peyo. The Depor Alex Return fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirilo Peyo should have stopped the shot. Joaquin Cayo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match, Justino Chucho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gerardo Elia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Justino Chucho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Depor Alex Return's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Chucho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Elia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Depor Alex Return's Cirilo Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Perez in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match, Justino Chucho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gerardo Elia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Depor Alex Return were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Chacarita Futsal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilberto Astigar took the corner.

Chacarita Futsal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
