The Zuera Never End MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Everton should have stopped the shot. Cherif Gomez hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Laurín Lamb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justino Laferte didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 26th minute, Adilson Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Laferte was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 46th minute, Oscar Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jailson de Amaral was the one to do the kick off. The FSX UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Laferte should have stopped the shot. Salomone Berna hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when Zuera Never End MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Prestes came free, but Justino Laferte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zuera Never End MZC's Santo Everton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odilón Bauzá in the 88th minute of play. Enrique Mariano Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Celedonio Araube made the kick off and play began. Enrique Mariano Walker ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 111th minute, Jailson de Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuera Never End MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.
