A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gert Heitinga hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match A.A FÊNIX got a corner. The Underdogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hilario Furtado ran over to the corner to take the kick. A.A FÊNIX's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Roland Boon scored to the left of an out of position Silvano Lohitzun, making the score, 1-1. Roland Boon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Lohitzun having to make a save. 28 minutes into the game, Eriberto Sengrat threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Underdogs's Bruno Spierenburg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Remigio Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Furtado during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A.A FÊNIX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Underdogs the free kick. After a rather tough play, A.A FÊNIX's Bernardo Lehoi got a free kick in the 41st minute. Silvano Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Boon in the 52nd minute of play forced A.A FÊNIX's goalkeeper Silvano Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Roland Boon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Underdogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. A.A FÊNIX were furious when Bernardo Lehoi was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Bernardo Lehoi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nico van Kampen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, A.A FÊNIX's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Boon came free, but Silvano Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Maurice van Rhijn hit a great ball. Silvano Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Lamey in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, A.A FÊNIX's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Boon came free, but Silvano Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Oihenarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico van Kampen having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Roland Boon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Underdogs's Roland Boon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvano Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Boon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Roland Boon notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of A.A FÊNIX's Silvano Lohitzun. Silvano Lohitzun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
