Cayetano Mambru ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute Tiburcio Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Mambru's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The Texugo Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Napoleón 2018 were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeu Marinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Texugo Futebol Clube's Baltazar Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Charro in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Adrian Rosalio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltazar Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When Váldson Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Texugo Futebol Clube's protests and gave Váldson Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Texugo Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Ferreira to maneuver through the defense.
